According to the Age today, Tom cruise and katie holmes named their baby "Suri" which has its origins in Hebrew, meaning "princess", or Persian, meaning "red rose".

I wonder if they thought about what this name could mean in other languages...

In Japanese, "suri" means "pickpocket".
maybe they have her career planned out already...
